Court Overview – Sedona Municipal Court
If you are charged with a misdemeanor offense occurring within the beautiful red rock scenery of Sedona, the odds are good that you will have your court appearances in the Sedona Municipal Court. Although the city of Sedona straddles two different counties, the Sedona Municipal Court has jurisdiction to hear any crime occurring within the city limits of Sedona.
The Sedona Municipal Court is located at 102 Roadrunner Rd., Sedona, AZ 86336. The Court is open for business Monday – Thursday from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The Sedona City Prosecutor, who works for the Sedona City Attorney, prosecutes criminal cases in the Sedona Municipal Court.
Most criminal cases that are charged in the Sedona Municipal Court are the result of arrests made by the Sedona Police Department, although occasionally other departments make arrests that lead to cases in the Sedona Municipal Court.
