Facing Arizona's Tough New Law?
Effective Criminal Defense for "Super Extreme DUI"
It doesn't matter that no one was injured and no property was damaged. As far as police and prosecutors are concerned, a BAC of .20 or more is an accident waiting to happen. And they intend to punish you severely for it.
Even for a first-ever drunk driving arrest, judges' hands are tied on a super extreme DUI. Facing a minimum of 45 days in jail upon conviction, you have no choice but to fight and fight hard. The Rosenstein Law Group examines every last detail of the prosecution's evidence to find grounds for dismissal, to reduce the charges to a lesser DUI, or to present an effective defense at trial.

Super Extreme Penalties
If a blood or breath test indicates a BAC of .20 or greater, Arizona's new "super extreme DUI" law calls for harsh mandatory penalties. A conviction means:
- Minimum 45 consecutive days in jail, up to 180 days;
- Over $3,000 in fines, plus you pay jail costs;
- License suspension 90 days (work permit possible after 30 days);
- Up to 5 years probation;
- Ignition interlock on your car for 18 months after you license is reinstated.
A second conviction for super extreme DUI carries a 180-day minimum sentence, one-year license revocation (no work permit), and 24 months of ignition interlock after revocation.
